Terms and Conditions

Charter Inclusions

  • Captain, Crew, fuel, Jetty Charges, soft drinks, water & ice.

Chartering Rules

  • The minimum rental time of the vessel is 2 hours. If you wish, the time can be extended by checking with the captain (if you extend already onboard) or with our sales manager if there is time availability.
  • If the customer or their guests are running late, the delay time will be deducted from your overall cruise time with us.
  • Pre-payment of 50% of the full price of the cruise is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance can be paid on board on the day of the cruise in cash or via an online link.
  • The Goa Coast Guard enforces strict rules on all charter companies here in Goa & fines are common. If rules are broken, we reserve the right to pass on any fine to the guests if incurred due to non-compliance or disregard for the rules set out by the coastguard & enforced by your Captain & Crew.
  • Abuse of alcohol & subsequent reckless behaviour may result in fines or termination of the charter without any refunds.
  • Life jackets are to be worn when the coast guard deems necessary & issues a weather warning.
  • Littering in the waters is not tolerated and punishable by law.
  • Jumping off the yacht while underway or at anchor is not permitted & will result in the charter being terminated.
  • No animals or pets of any sort may be taken on board.
  • No smoking throughout the yacht’s interior. Failure to comply will lead to immediate termination of the charter.
  • Any extra cleaning required as a result of your charter is deemed chargeable.
  • Guests have access to all areas of the yacht except for the technical, navigation, and staff quarters.
  • The route of the trip shall be discussed with the booking manager at the time of booking of the vessel; but it can be adjusted with the captain during the cruise.
  • In accordance with Captain of Ports regulations, all guests are required to bring with them proof of identity: original/copy.
  • Guests are allowed to bring food and drinks with them on board.
  • Please note that Fernandescruises is not responsible for any items left unattended. Please check your personal belongings before leaving the boat.

Number of Guests

  • Final numbers for guests must be confirmed the night before & may not be exceeded on the day.

Attire

  • Footwear must be removed before boarding our yachts. We recommend comfortable clothing.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • We reserve the right to cancel any bookings made. In the event of a cancellation, no liability shall fall on us. Payments paid shall be refunded in full to the named charterer.
  • Cancellations will only occur due to bad weather conditions, mechanical failure and satisfactory upgrade options are available. Coastguard restrictions and enforcement of new laws prohibiting the charter from going ahead are included.
  • Cancellations made 72 hours or more in advance of the scheduled departure time will receive a full refund.
  • Cancellations made between 72 hours and 48 hours in advance of the scheduled departure time will be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking cost.
  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance of the scheduled departure time are non-refundable.

Change of Booking Time

  • Client may reschedule the booking free of charge if he/she notifies the company at least 48 hours prior to the booking.
  • If less than 48 hours – the client will be charged the full amount of the deposit.

Refund Policy

  • Refunds will be issued to the same payment method used for the booking.
  • Any refunds issued to the bank account may incur additional administrative charges.
  • Refunds can take 5-7 working days to show back into the account.
